Peridot

Peridot star cluster is made of pale stars, but still gemologists around the world prefers the cosmic shape, for peridot cutting.
The centaur mythology also does justice to peridot along with the stars which are named after the gem. Peridot is the daughter of the Traitor God Onyx and symbolizes death. All she touches loose life. Although, the pale ghost lady in the woods story, is told to scare the children, Centaur society have more rational explanations related to death. Death is not merely something to be scared of, and Peridot is the only child of Onyx who is respected while all the other siblings comes to mind along with curses.
